A trustworthy, helpful family business. I recently bought a secondhand car from C L Motors.The car was a fair price and had been valeted until it looked like new! They were very helpful and delivered it to me as I had no transport. All communications were friendly and polite. They are a company that I would would have no hesitation in recomending to my friends. I am very glad I have found them.

It would be fair to say that buying a car off a garage can be stressful with the reputation of the trade, knowing what you’re buying and getting a good price. However, it would seem from my experience with CL Cars, they’re changing this. I saw a car I liked, emailed on the Saturday night, Chris replied on Sunday and was happy to take a call on the Sunday and a deal was done on Monday. I only saw the car on Autotrader, I sent some photos of my car for part exchange and it was all sorted. Chris was really helpful with sorting and advising with paperwork, really good communication and he came across as an honest and easy person. No hard sales or at any point felt under pressure to pay any money until we were both happy. Due to Covid Chris also delivered the car himself and took mine away. He even helped with how to tax it. This was honestly the best car buying experience in 22 years. The car that I bought was just as described, but cleaner and with a warranty that I didn’t expect!
